How to Make Caramel Apple Nachos at Home.
Follow these 4 basic steps to make a mouthwatering tray of caramel apple nachos.
Action 1: Wash and Slice Apples.
Start by completely cleaning your apples to clean them, then pat them with paper towels to dry. Utilize an apple slicer to cut eat apple into 8 pieces. Discard the core.
For a complete plate, we advise slicing four to six apples. Granny Smith apples are timeless, but you can use whatever other apple ranges you have on hand.
Step 2: Arrange Apple Slices.
Now it’s time to arrange your apple slices on a plate that is big enough to hold all the pieces without stacking them.
For a circle plate, set up apple pieces in a concentric pattern, beginning with the center and working your method outwards up until the platter is complete. For a rectangle-shaped platter, arrange the apple slices into vertical columns, each column facing the very same or alternating directions.
For both techniques, apples must a little overlap one another.
Step 3: Make Melted Caramel and Drizzle It on Apple Slices.
This step can be as simple as melting store-bought soft caramel sweets in the microwave or saucepan, or as comprehensive as making caramel from scratch. As soon as you have made the caramel, drizzle it evenly over the apple slices.
Step 4: Add Toppings!
Add as many or as little toppings as your heart desires. For a classic approach, drizzle on some melted chocolate and add chopped nuts and mini chocolate chips. Serve and delight in!
