Take Inspiration From Nature, Not Netflix

Among Kuo’s favorite styles for fall decorating is going with a high end enchanted apothecary style. “Think crystals and curiosities, dried florals, mysterious decanters and vessels, and plenty of candles, rather than a full-on haunted house,” she states.
Raise Traditional Halloween Decor
Halloween decoration can come across as ugly when the products look cheap and improperly prepared. Instead of picking up a standard pumpkin at the grocery store or a plastic alternative at the outfit shop, search for slightly elevated options. “Instead of overtly spooky components, integrate elegant products, such as velvet pumpkins, mercury glass lanterns, and wrought iron accents,” says Crystal Pittman, home décor and vacation buyer at Roger’s Gardens in Newport Beach. “These pieces include a layer of elegance while still embracing the Halloween spirit.”
Check Out Lighting and Music
Pittman discusses that high-end Halloween design is all about producing the ideal atmosphere. “Use soft, warm lighting with string lights or lanterns to craft a welcoming and comfortable, yet strange atmosphere,” she states.
Then, produce a haunting playlist, whether for yourself or visitors– however skip requirements like “Monster Mash.” “Consider critical pieces with a touch of spooky charm or traditional jazz with a dark twist to elevate the experience and change your area into a sophisticated Halloween retreat,” Pittman recommends.
